Amy Dacyczyn Fans, Check It Out!

Anyway, for those of us who still flip through our old copies of Tightwad Gazette for inspiration (and a bit of nostalgia), here is an actual real-live recent interview with the Goddess of Frugal herself:

For those of you who have never read a word of Amy's, I'd encourage at least a peek. If you've felt alone in trying to live a fiscally thoughtful life, you will find comfort. Some of it may be a bit dated; she started writing the newsletters (later turned into a series of books) in the 80's. Her last newlstter was in 1996. (She never even got to write an Ebay article!) OK, so maybe you don't want to make Valentine Hearts for your sweetie from plastic tabs that keep your bread bag closed, but you can't shake a stick at real folk trying to live authentically, even when the going gets nearly $4/gallon-tough.
